Awards

For many years, JAC has sponsored four annual awards for outstanding theoretical scholarship in the humanities. These awards include The Gary A. Olson Award for the most outstanding book on rhetorical and cultural theory, The W. Ross Winterowd Award for the most outstanding book on composition theory, The James L. Kinneavy Award for the most outstanding article published in JAC, and The Elizabeth A. Flynn Award for the most outstanding article in feminist rhetorical theory.
